Facility Rental Events

The Brelsford WSU Visitor Center is the perfect place to celebrate your special occasion — it was quite literally designed to be an event space! 

Our facility has the unique ability to be reconfigured into a room large enough to accommodate up to 120 guests, depending on the type of event, and can serve as a formal dining experience, reception area or presentation room. We’ve hosted anniversary and birthday celebrations, wedding receptions, fairs and exhibitions, graduation and award ceremonies, community presentations, networking events, dinners for campus departments and student organizations — you name it! 

Events at the visitor center include use and staffing of the space (including the outdoor patio and lawn areas), access to the catering kitchen, reservation and exclusive use of the parking lot, and use of the large display screen and audio. Outside catering and alcohol services are permitted and the specific requirements of each are dependent upon the nature of the event. Please note, the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center does not provide catering or alcohol service but can provide additional information upon request.

Facility Rental Policies and Fees

Available renting times

  • 5 p.m. – 11 p.m., Monday – Friday
  • 8 a.m. – 11 p.m., Saturday – Sunday

Building Use Fee

  • $400 for 3 hours
  • $100 for each additional hour

Reservation Fee

  • $100 non-refundable reservation fee due within 10 days of signing the facility use agreement. This fee will be applied toward the final rental cost after the completion of your event.

Equipment

The following equipment and features are available at the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center and are included in the facility use fee. Depending on event size, additional tables and chairs may be needed.

  • 10 Bistro Tables
  • 2 Banquet Tables (one 6-foot, one 8-foot)
  • 2 Mobile Bar Carts
  • 3 Easels
  • Lobby Furniture, including six ottomans, three chairs and four side tables
  • Use of on-site catering kitchen, parking lot, outdoor patios and lawn spaces

Additional rental items are available through the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center for an additional fee. Guests may also bring in their own equipment, as approved by the Brelsford WSU Visitor Center.
